Hyundai 25 years later!
Remember 25 years ago when Hyundai was the laughing stock of the automobile world. In 1986 they announced their plan to become the number one car maker in the world. Guess what since 1986 they’ve put profit back into the Hyundai Auto Company and have achieved their goal.
The Hyundai Sonata gets lots of “Hey what kind of car is that?” Several people have thought it was a Lexus.
The fuel economy is really there, at 70 and shows 39-40 MPG with cruise control and the AC on. And at 55 it gets even better mileage 49-50 MPG. Now that’s exceptional mileage.
The Hyundai Sonata looks and acts like a car that should cost at least twice as much as it does.
Everything comes standard including ABS and traction control. The styling is just the frosting on the cake. The 18” wheels on the SE really set it apart from the competition. It has a nice sporty look. The dash has a great layout, it has a powerful 4 cylinder 200 HP engine, that’s all the power you’ll need. This 4 cylinder engine has plenty get up and go. The ride is really comfortable and it’s easy on the wallet.
The Sonata has a great trunk with lots of room, the keyless entry works from over 100’ away, the headlights are exceptionally strong. The back seat area has much more room than its competitors. The turning radius is great for the size of the car. The standard sound system is rich, the controls are easy and the driver’s seat is really comfortable.
If you’re in the market for a new car the Hyundai Sonata is truly a “no brainer”
