2005 Harley Davidson Road King Custom: Primary drive locked up?

Ok, so my dad has the bike listed in the title. I was going to start it up and the battery was dead. I proceeded by taking the battery out and testing/charging it. I put it back in the next day and when I went to attach the second lead on the +/- side (don’t remember which) it sparked more then I am used to. Scared me enough I dropped the lead. Of course my luck the bushing fell out of the battery tray and into the depths of the bike. Now when I push the bike forward or backwards to an extent the drive locks up. I am pretty sure the metal bushing fell right into the primary drive sprocket and it stuck there which is locking it up.
Question: any tips on getting it out without tearing the bike apart? Any other people with problem like this?

Get a bright flashlight and lay on the ground at the rear of the bike.Look up the run of the belt between the tire and the belt at the front pulley and try to spot anything laying there.If need be roll the bike a bit and look again.A small inspection mirror might help you spot it too.And always hook up the positive cable first,then the negative.
