Anniv Stereo
Which sounds better for my system?
Im currently looking for a stereo amp or pre and power amp to hook my cd player(Arcam cd192). On my list are Arcam FMJ-A28 or A38, Naim Nap 150x + Nac 122x pre-power combo. My system are Onkyo tx-sr875 avr,Arcam cd192,b&w 703′s,chord odyssey 4,chord chorus,paradigm monitor5,cc-350,ps1000,Qed silver anniv.-Thanks..
You could hook an amp directly to the cd player. I would suggest a used pair of marantz mono-bloc MA-500′s. They have independent input controls on the back so you can adjust the volume. This would give you true stereo separation from the L&R channels. If you want more power, hunt down a pair of MA-700′s. They are harder to find, but I have two of them. I use the mono-bloc amps for all my channels in my home theater. They are great & so fleaxible. Just a suggestion.
