What is the value of a Six Sigma Black Belt certification?
Currently I am working to become certified Six Sigma Black Belt. I over 10 years experience in marketing and sales management at a small company. I started my career in a multinational company where I was very involved Six Sigma. Can anyone tell me what the value of corporate America has made Six Sigma Black Belt certification? Supasuc thanks. I really hope that black belt will help me to raise my career out of creating new small businesses and in the multinational environment where my career started. Once it gets my goal of certification of large firms my research career.
I'm 53 years old and retired. I purchased a black belt certification Six Sigma, when I worked for GE. At that time, once the black belt, it's almost automatically a managerial position and a strong increase. Let me Empahize again 53 years and I have been retired for 3 years so there is value in this belt. However, I must say that small businesses (which worked my B between 48th and 50th days) are simply not the appropriate place for a black belt, despite all he said the executive. Small businesses have more to worry in general make the improvement of its processes more resources are often simply not there. There is also a lack of knowledge that Six Sigma is really whether it is really difficult to implement change. As you may have noticed, working in a small business is the key factor that convinced me that actually retire …. there was really no reason just to torture me when money is no longer necessary at this point.
