I spent $ 150 – $ 200 to restore an old bike myself, just buy the parts and paint etc and do the work myself, if you go al the work done professionally and pay someone else to do, you could run into thousands. You must consider the cost the bike home in the state where you buy and the value at the end. If you just want to store it in a tower all day and then cleaned Quick and spray paintjob can do, if you want to show support immaculate condition, so you have to spend $ $ $. Unless it is a rare or unusual bike it will not be worth spending $ 10k on a restoration.
