’99 VW Cabrio- Trunk release bit broken- how do I get in to fix it?
I was told you can go in to the trunk through the passenger cabin, but the VW dealer wouldn’t say how…. but it’s only a $10 part that I can probably replace myself if I can figure out how to get to it
you need to lower the back seat backrest to get into the trunk from the interior – there should be a button or a lever
