The fans appreciated the eyes of Mustang cars in 1960, Ford Motor Co. has ordered a pair of what is known as the "Quarterhorse" Mustangs. Created by Kar Kraft, Skunkworks Ford race shop, the cars were designed as a possible replacement for the Boss 429 and Shelby Mustangs.
