Honda Motorcycle Carburetor Cleaning

Honda Motorcycle Carburetor Cleaning
I am doing a carburetor rebuild for a 1982 Honda cm250c motorcycle. How do I clean the o-rings?

Finding a new gasket kit has been nearly impossible for this model, so we’ll need to reuse all the old o-rings and gaskets. We have it all apart, and we carefully fished out all the items (as well as all plastics) so we could soak the carburetor parts in carb cleaner. They seem to be well warn, but none are broken. How is the best way to clean and rejuvinate these parts? Would we be better off making our own gasket for stretched out ones?
By nearly impossible, I mean I did track down one set of gaskets in the Netherlands for 23 Euros with possibly 28 Euros shipping. Translation: at least $75 USD plus any legal fees, and will take forever to get here. I did order it, but we’d like to keep working on the bike now to figure out what other potential problems are.

yeah carb cleaner or anything that is non corrosive like kerosene, but if your worried about the condition of the o-rings warm soapy water may even be a better option.
