Honda Motorcycle Upgrades
Motorcycle. Insurance and the Policy?
Hey, I know it is very earlie for me to be thinking of this but i’m intrigued to know how Insurance and policy’s like that work.
On sunday I will be upgrading to my New Honda xl 125. Got all the Insurance Done, But in about four months I am looking at doing my A2. This allows me a bigger BHP/Kw Motorcycle. I already have a One years NCB from my 50cc but, if after this time (four months) I Upgrade to, Say a Kawasaki Ninja 250. How does the Insurance side work? Will I have to start again? Scrapping my 125 Insurance? Pay/Freely transfer the current Policy and pay more (Due to a bigger Engine size)?
Although I’ve not seen too much of this but, I was told, you can have a ‘Multi Bike’ where you pay a small fee to add the bike, making both bikes insured at the same time.
Please someone make this clear for me, For future references.

You carry on with the 125 policy and it is amended with the new bike details. There will be an additional premium to pay and most likely an administration fee too.
This will be the least expensive way to do it.
As you do not seem to have a multibike policy right now then that is not relevant to you. it is only useful for people who run more than one bike not for people trading in and up.
