Honda Motorcycles Parts Uk

bar end weights and grips – possibly stupid question?

The grips on my bike have seen better days so i want to replace them with something like these

And i also want to try and cut down the vibration by fitting these

My question is: Are these two items compatable? can i fit these bar end weights onto these grips and how do the bar weights fit on?

End weights -
The black rubber is an exact fit and slides into the end of the handlebars.
When the screw on the outer end of the bar weight is tightened, the nut gets pulled into the black rubber.
As the rubber gets squished, the outside diameter gets larger, grabbing onto the inside of the handlebar.

In order for those grips to be used with bar weights, the end of the grips have to be cut off.
I’ve done it on thousands of bikes.
The throttle side will have to be trimmed a little extra so the bar weight doesn’t interfere with the grip.
Check the throttle grip’s operation.
Trim more of the grip as necessary.
