Loaded Black

the computer will not load Windows, only a black screen and the cursor?

I have a Dell laptop and tried to restore system, good previous configuration, safe mode, and only loads a black screen and a cursor! What should I do?

Try recovery system. This will to install everything back to how it was when new. You could do this with the factory restore disks that came with your laptop when you bought it. End of line
