Scooter Carb
Moving to california, do I need to get my car and scooter CARB certified?
I am moving from Ohio to California. I heard that I might have to get a bunch of emissions tests done when I get there on my car and scooter. Can anyone tell me what I might have to do to be legal there? (I tried looking it up on Cali’s .gov site but it was like reading stereo instructions in russian) Thanks in advance! 
Your car needs to get “smogged”, which means you have to take it to a certified smog testing place and get a certificate that says it passes the emissions tests. Then you can register it. I don’t believe scooters have the same requirement. I have a Yamaha Vino and all I have to do is register it with paperwork every year (no inspections or anything).
