Which used car should I buy?
I’m trying to decide between two used cars… The first car is a 1996 Toyota Camry, with 106,000 miles on it. The exterior & interior are in mint condition; automatic transmission, power windows, locks, brand new brakes & tires; it’s being sold by a dealer, so, probably, there’ll be no documentation of past repairs– however, car has a clean carfax. cost: $4900.
The second car is 1997 Honda Accord, with 126,000 miles on it. The exterior is in pretty good condition, but there’s a couple small dents, and a tiny bit of rust. Interior is fairly clean, with slight sun discoloration on back seats. Honda has 5-speed manual transmission, moonroof, cd changer, power windows/ locks. Private owner selling the car– single owner for life of car, no major repairs; has kept up with maintenance/ oil change, etc… cost: $3750. Which car should I buy? Hope to keep the car three years, & hope it will not require alot of repair– if I buy the cheaper Honda, I will have $ left over to fix it.
just make sure you check when the timing belt was changed if it hasn’t yet been done do it right away !!!!!!!
