Seadoo Jetski
my jetski ran fine before it ran out of gas. I filled it up and now it wont start, any ideas?
This is a 97 seadoo XP. It has been running like a dream all year. Spark plugs are new.
I was at the lake and ran out of gas, got towed back to the dock and put more gas in it. Now it tries to start but it wont quite turnover. I dont know much about these things but someone said the carb might be flooded? Any other ideas? How would I troubleshoot this?

When you say “choke it” do you mean pull the choke all the way out and squeeze the throttle all the way?
Because you ran out of fuel you have used all the fuel in the lines. If you can prime the lines then great. It will fire right back up. Otherwise it will take a bit of throttle and starting combination to get fuel back into the carb and allow it to start. It will take a little time though.
If you actually meant by not turning over that it won’t crank at all then it could be quite a few different things.
