Where do you buy new or used cars in Kiev, Ukraine?
I am relocating to Kiev. I have tried to look up on the internet sites to buy cars there. I have no real luck. I would like to buy a car there and hire a full time driver while I am in Kiev for at least a year. Any advise would be appriciated.
That is like asking where to buy a car in San Francisco – it depends on what kind of car you want.
There are plentiful dealers in Kyiv, with just about every kind of car you might want. You can even find Fords (built in Bellorussia), Jeeps (but not other Chrysler products), and a Ukrainian built version of the Cheverolet (I don’t recall what they call them). Lexus, Mercedes, Toyota, Cooper, etc are all available there.
As to hiring a driver – you can find available drivers just about anywhere. Many taxi drivers will work for you, if you pay well. Approach some, and ask – they will tell you how much they want. Professionals are harder to find.
