Wagon Mint Condition

92 or 97 Ford Escort Wagon Saturn cars?

I am torn between two breaks. Both have 100k miles. Both are distributors and say that both are in perfect condition, no negative comments about the dealers. We looked at consumer reports on both cars, but both seem about equal. However, I concerned about the Saturn and how long it will last or how many repairs that I have to do to keep it running. They say they have many problems. And many people say the same thing Ford. I'm not used to being a Ford person I have cut my Ford Escort 97. But trying to find an automatic car thats good on gas and in my range price is difficult. Please list if you have one and how long it lasted. Many details as possible. Thank you.

Saturn is very cheaply made, usually Plastic entires. I recommend the ford, as it will probably be easier to find spare parts and more people have.
