Warranty Miles Mint
Should I buy the extended warranty on a used 2005 Mazda3?
It has 22,500 miles, so it still has 2 years/27,500 miles left on the factory warranty. It is the 2.3 liter Special Edition version in Mint Condition. Intellichoice, Consumer Reports, & Edmunds rate it very well for reliability, but I haven’t found any strong case for or against buying the extended coverage. I’m being offered 5 years/100,000 miles 5-Star coverage from GE for $1350. Appreciate you help.
in most cases no, an extended warranty usually only covers labor. In the long run you usually pay more for the warranty than you would just paying labor. Not to mention than the warranty is only good at the dealership. Most repairs and another facility will be cheaper for both parts and installation then just paying for parts at the dealership.
